Year Reception

Home learning due to school closure and keeping in touch

By now, I hope you have become used to following the tasks I've set for your child on this page. Please remember that you can post on Tapestry to keep us up to date with learning and also remember that these are unprecedented times so if learning doesn't always go to plan, be kind to yourselves and come back to it tomorrow.

I have added a class padlet to this page also.  As we have not seen some of you for so long, it's really important that we see some of the learning you are doing at home.  We would like you to upload photos of learning on to this please.  It is so easy and can be done from your phone and it is useful for those of you who haven't been able to access Tapestry.

Stay alert, Control the virus, Save lives.

Best wishes,

Mrs Reeves x

Final week of Home Learning-wb 13.7.20

Home Learning-Week Beginning 6.7.20

For those of you joining us in school next week, please share these photos with your child of our classroom. We tried to keep it the same as much as possible, whilst following the government guidelines and putting the safety of your children, our staff and our families at the forefront of our planning. There is also a photo of the gate where you will now be required to drop off and collect your child. Please remember that we will be following strict social distancing rules at these times of the day.

Letters and Sounds Reading and Spelling lists

From Term 2 in the EYFS, we send home packs of learning to support your child further consolidate what they have been taught.  The packs are full of resources, activities and sheets, which you will enjoy doing together. Each pack also includes information on how to best use its content and outcomes of recent assessments as we work towards the Early Learning Goals.  Parents are invited to put photos of the home learning taking place on Tapestry. Unlike other classes, there is no expectation to hand in the completed activities, they are to be used in a fun and enjoyable way to set each child on their home learning journey at a pace that is right for them.

Welcome to Reception!

Your teacher will very soon be filling this page with exciting class news, pictures of things we’ve done and more.
