As Chair of Governors I am extremely proud to be able to play a part in the life of our school. I have been active on the Governing body for 17 years and am currently in my 2nd year as Chair of governors. Having been educated at the school myself and seeing my 2 daughters through the school I feel I have not only a commitment to the school but also a passion to ensure our children receive the quality of education and spiritual guidance that each one of them truly deserves.
‘Our Lady of Lincoln Catholic Primary School is a living and caring community, an extension of the home and an integral part of the Catholic Community.’
The Governing Body at Our Lady of Lincoln firmly believe that children are at the heart of our school and every child matters. I am proud of our inclusive philosophy and thoroughly enjoy being an active member of a dedicated team who strive for the best for our children in a safe and caring environment.
Our school mission statement celebrates the uniqueness of each person. The distinctive nature of our Catholic school incorporates this ethos.
As governors, we share the high expectations with all staff and strive to continually improve and raise standards.
As a school we are committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Our website will hopefully provide the necessary information to parents about how the school is run and the aims and expectations we have set ourselves. Unfortunately pen and paper cannot get across to the reader the friendly, supportive and positive atmosphere that our school possesses.
Going around the school you see and hear pupils eager to learn and to express their ideas and this is of course down to the quality of our teachers. The school is blessed by a teaching team that is experienced, highly enthusiastic and very supportive of children and each other. We therefore believe we are part of a happy confident school that is ready to nurture the developing talents of your children on their first and crucial step along their educational ladder.
I hope our website answers many if not all of your questions, but the school is always happy and willing to answer any concerns or queries you may have.
Hi, my name is Mr Hall and I am the Chair of Governors at Our Lady’s. I have been a Governor here since 1998 and the Chair since 2011. I am married to the wonderful Mrs Hall and have two beautiful daughters aged 18 and 20. I love football and follow the mighty Arsenal FC! I enjoy walking and try to go as often as I can. But most of all I really love spending time with my family and friends.
