Academy Trust Information

Our Lady of Lincoln Catholic Primary School converted to become an Academy on 1st May 2013, as part of a Multi Academy Trust with 5 other Catholic Schools in Lincolnshire and Rutland: St Hugh’s and St Peter and St Paul, Lincoln; Our Lady of Good Counsel, Sleaford; English Martyrs, Rutland and St Augustine’s, Stamford.

Together, we are known as the St Gilbert of Sempringham Catholic Academy Trust – the name being chosen due to St Gilbert being a Lincolnshire saint.

Academy status brings us more freedoms and with that more responsibility; and most importantly it has safeguarded the Catholic identity of all of our schools.

There are many benefits to being part of the Academy Trust, one of which has been being able to work collaboratively and learn together on many different levels; and we look forward to the partnership developing even further to the benefit of our children over the years to come.
